I'm having problems with the BCB5 pro (and also with BCB3 in other
computer) and the help system. Freshly installed, I can press F1 with
the cursor over VCL or Windows API keywords, and everything goes fine.
After some time (maybe weeks or months), only the VCL items show.

If you press F1, for example, over RGB, you get the Windows API help
about the RGB macro. Then, some day, you get only the list of similar
words of the VCL help.

The fast way to fix this is reinstalling, but I'm looking for a method
to re-register the help or something similar.

Thank you

You could try deleting the (hidden) .GID files but I'm not
convinced as I've never seen this particular problem before.

I've just opened Help->Customize. When OpenHelp opens, most entries are
marked with a red cross and they only have filename (no path). The
others have title and a full path.

I've deleted one entry and added it again, with success, but there are a
lot of files. I'll edit all of them. Thank you.
