Hello,
in the past there was a component for making different kind of
selections called "Marching Ants Suite".
Their website (http://www.shrubware.com/ ) and probably their company
seems to be dead.
Is there any alternative ?
Thanks

Hi John,
The envision image library has a rectangular marching ants

you could probably adapt their code to do non retangular regions.

Could you let me know if you find something that does different shapes?
Shrubware was deregestired in 2005, so they're no longer going I'd say.
