If I could only get Borland to pay me for all the down time from linker
errors, I could probably have a HOBBY <BG>!

I am getting the dreaded Linker Error #1659 and don't have a clue how to
resolve it (I have tried rebuilding and even including rebuilding my
package and I get the same error).

The latest linker I have for C Builder 6 is version 5.64.

I just went to their registered user download area and I don't see a
newer version. Is there a newer version? If so, how can I get it?

Best Regards,

Shane

I was just reading that there is a version 5.66 version of the linker
that supposively fixes the problem I am having.

As I mentioned earlier, 5.66 version of the linker has been removed from
the download area (registered user).

Could someone please email it to me @

ShaneATStumpWare.com

?

Best Regards,

Shane

I don't know why this happened, but I'll try to get it fixed. In the
meantime, you can put in an install case with support here:

Is there a QUICK way to get the latest linker?

Support should be quick... The request to update the web page was
already sent out, so that should happen soon as well.

I use a lot of third party components unfortunately and everytime I have
ever tried ilink, it completes about several of the libraries which
leaves me dead in the water.

I am now in the process of installing the upgrade of BDS 2006 I have had
sitting on my desk for 18 months but it isn't going to be "pain-free"
either because of a couple of the components I use a lot and I am going
to have to hope the author responses with a "fixed" version or pay
someone to fix for me.

Best regards,

Shane
