Hi
I have been trying to import an ActiveX control written in VB6 into D7.
Importing the same control into D4 was a breeze but not into D7. I have
searched the newsgroups and found that D7 requires the CanCreate flag to be
ignored on importing which at least now allows the 'wrapped ocx' to appear
on the component palette. (Deborah Pate (Team B) posting on 05/03/2003
refers). Now however the component palette icon is corrupted and some of the
properties are not behaving correctly such as height and width.
Can anyone offer opinions as to why this behaviour occurs and how to
rectify it ? and why there is this discrepancy between D4 and D7 for the
common process of importing ActiveX controls ? I can see from reading the
newsgroups that this sort of issue has caused quite a lot of pain at least
since the conception of D6.

My thanks in anticipation

Peter B.
