Hi,
I just loaded the evaluation version of C++ Builder (released in Feb.
2006.) I am currently using Visual Studio for all of my development,
and I would like to be able to import my current projects into C++
Builder to see how it compares. Is this possible? I tried to create a
blank project in C++ Builder to add files to, but it seems that Borland
has no option to create a "blank" project. I tried creating a project.
This replaced one of my original CPP files with a default CPP file for
Borland projects (this didn't exactly thrill me.)
Ideally, I'd like to just take a DSW or SLN file and load it directly
into the evaluation version, compile, and run. Is this possible? I've
googled for converters, and apparently one *used* to exist. Does
anyone know of a converter that I could download? I would e-mail
Borland support, but apparently there is no direct way to do this
either.
So far, my first impression of Borland's C++ Builder is poor, and that
is a real shame.
TIA,
Brian |
