Can someone please point me towards a source (website, book, etc) that gives
details on how to speed up ole client applications (efficient programming
techniques with COM?). I know that interfaces are faster than variants, etc
but I am not sure if I am even getting an interface vs. a variant. I also
know that for variant arrays, vararraylock helps speed things up, but I am
having trouble using it.

I have an application up and running quite well (but painfully slow) that
'talks' to AutoCAD, Excel and DAO.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Dennis
