I've just started using the built in BDS2006 Rave Reports in an
attempt to replace my QuickReports that I used under D7. I tried to
create a one to many master - detail report using the report wizard
but the report keeps showing all records from the detail table instead
of the correct linked records.

The master table holds a date field and a single record. The detail
table has a primary index consisting of and ItemID and a date field
along with a secondary index consisting of the date field and the
ItemID.

I verified that the wizard setup the master data view with no
MasterKey or DetailKey assignment and the detail data view band's has
the correct MasterDateView, MasterKey along with the DateView and
DetailKey. I've tried using both the primary and secondary index on
the form's detail table which only changed the display order of the
detail records while still displaying all records instead of the
correct linked records.

I have also tried linking the tables on the main Delphi form which
didn't solve the problem. Seems like a simple enough report, what am
I missing here to get the correct linkage? Can Rave Reports really
create this type of report?

Any assitance would be greatly appreciated after several hours of
struggling with this problem.

TIA,
- Bob
