Hi,
After trying to figure out the errors I've had
with a simple C++ personality test app, I
scoured the ng and happened upon the post by
Simon Rydberg and the replies pointing out that
BDS's C++ personality doesn't work with Indy 10
(which comes with BDS, right?)
So in the mean time, while the Indy devs are
figuring it out; what exactly do I do to create
a simple HTTP app that just gets a page from
a website at the click of a button?
Please note that I'm just a beginner with
C++. I do know Delphi more, but I was hoping
to do/learn some C++ programming.
Any pointers appreciated.

Indy 10 is not officially available for C++ just yet. That goes for any
version of C++, not just BDS.

Remove Indy 10 and use Indy 9 instead.

I suppose I'll drop down to 9.

Thanks Gambit for the info. Is there a FAQ |
that details how to remove Indy 10 from BDS?
The FAQ at the Indy site shows only removing
Indy 8 from Delphi 4->7. The only
mention of 10 is how to install it. |
