|
|
Dear All, I read many 2, 3 and 4 yrs old topics stating that INDY 10
is under development and how great fibers and IOPC will be... I even
read about BENCHMAKS of the new features!
Now it is 2006, and I still couldn't find any INDY packages where the
SuperCore compiles at all.
I tried to download several versions from the "development snapshot",
then downloaded an Automatic Installer from www.atozed.com (which
installs everything nicely, EXCEPT the SuperCore), and now I ran out
of ideas.
I even made a huge mistake and actually PAID for the "Indy in Depth"
e-book, but there is no word on fibers in it. Waste of money!
After so many years after announcing INDY10 and SuperCore, does anyone
have a working version of the Supercore?
I would like to write a simple but very scalable chat server, which
can handle at least 5000-7000 connections. For this (I believe) I need
fibers technology and IOPC. Exactly what SC is suppoed to do.
Or can I do it with another package?
Thank you very much

SuperCore was never finsihed, and has not been worked on for awhile. It is
not up-to-date.
