What´s wrong if I install the C++Builder 2006 over a previos version installation (Builder 6)? Is it posible recognize the previus components installations (VCL)?

Ia have problems updating an aplications to the 2006 version.

No, BDS needs components compiled for it. It won't support C++ Builder 6 components. If you have the source, most
components compile with little or no changes. I'm using JCL/JVCL, most of Turbo Powers Components, and several other
really older components from the dark ages. ;-)
