|
|
I have been testing my application with MS SQL Server 2000 on a standalone
computer for some time. I'm ready to deploy to a network now, but I have a
stupid question.
I'm using dbExpress with the CoreLabs SQL Server driver. Do the
workstations require the MS SQL Server software to be installed on each
workstation? If so what does the SQL Server client software consist of?
I'm already planning on loading the latest version of MDAC to each
workstation.
Thanks,
Al Willis

You don't need the "client software", but you do need the "connectivity".
If you're installing MS SQL Server, there's an install option that says
"connectivity only".
