In the interactive desktop version of the application, I use the standard windows IShellLink interface to do this and it works fine. But in the ISAPI Webserver variant, it doesn't. If I try to create the COM object of class CLSID_ShellLink, I get an 'interface not supported' error. Can it be that the shell interfaces only work in an interactive program? If so, does anybody know how to decypher a shortcut file in the ISAPI environment?
