When replacing my laptop I'm trying to install Builder 5,6 on an new one
with Centrino Duo.

The error is Access Violation at Address 0012F60B Write of address ...
when trying to open the package 'Borland Integrated Translation
Environment'.

Also, when I have a project open and go to project/options the error is
Access Violation at address 0012FB37 ...

Also, it access violates when opening a dclusr50.bpl when I attempt it.

At any rate it is clear that something is broke on the PC.

Any Ideas?

Thanks.

Ok,

Reinstalling the operating system (XP Professional) fixed the problem.
