of the Borland(and Delphi) community.

It would help if the BDN announcement:
26 Sep Announcement: Borland public newsgroups maintenance completed
Both the hardware and software problems have been resolved
was expanded to explain what needs to be done with various NewsReaders to
reset and be able to see new posts. I only found out about this issue
through using Google. The only way I found to reset Outlook Express was to
delete the newsgroup account altogether. Simply unsubscribing / subscribing
had no effect.

On a ng:
right click -> Properties -> Local file -> Reset
was enough for my OE 5.5
