|
|
Hi -
I am running the Jbuilder X enterprise, the ctrl+] for brace matching is not working? Do I need to do anything to enable it?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Please reply to yichuan.li (AT) sentillion (DOT) com, Thanks.

Keyboard bindings in AWT/Swing have become less U.S. centric over the
years, but some things remain. If you e.g. use an international
keyboard layout where ] is on AtrGr + 9, that will be Ctrl+Alt+9,
which is setting bookmark 9.
If you use a non-US keyboard, try adding your own key combo in Tools,
Preferences, Key mappings. Select a key mapping and navigate to the
Search category, and select match-brace there to add it. If the key
you choose gives problems for KeyPressed event, try KeyTyped instead.

Thank you for your response. I tried that(I made sure ctrl+] is the key combo), it still does not work.
I tried to restart jbuilder but no help. Is there any thing else I can try? Thanks.

Where is the cursor when you try to use the key combo? It needs to be
just after the opening or closing brace/parenthesis. It does not work
when in front of it.

Yes, that worked! Thanks. My cursor is in front when I tried it, that is the visual stdio behavior(which I set ide to).
