I have been developing a Delphi 7 app for Japan. The Localization
process has been moving along smoothly until we started beta testing.
My computer is running xp service pack 2. It was originally installed
as English then the Japanese languages and regional settings were
installed. My Tester in Japan has also been running a similar pc.
However, he installed the app on customer's pc and all the screen
sizes were out of proportion and the locations of components were
wrong. I then installed a fresh pc with windows 2000 as Japanese from
scratch and I'm able to replicate the problem. Therefore I installed
Delphi on this computer to see what was going on and all the JPN forms
were to wide and the position of components were in wrong locations. To
which I fixed up then moved back to my computers. Then they were all
out of position on my pc. I though maybe it has got something to do
with the display settings or dpi settings. Or even the language bar.
But I'm unable to find any differences. I really do believe it has
some thing to do with a windows setting but I cannot find it. As you
can understand this in now in beta and as my client said this is a
potential show stopper.

Many Thanks in advance
