We have many PCs installed using j2re-1_4_2_02-windows-i586-p.exe
and all works fine - with the exception auf three. These start
the applications (and we see javaw in the taskmanager) but
nothing shows up. Using -verbose we see a lot of messages, the
last one is:

....
[Loaded sun.awt.windows.WComponentPeer$2 from C:PROGRAMMEJAVAJ2RE1.4librt.jar]

The other PC's show many more messages.

Any idea what is happening?

We solved the problem by installing new drivers for the ATI
graphic board.
