Hello Folks,
Hardware: LZHP1200, BCB5Pro, Win 98. Through Parallel Port.

When printing a bunch of invoices, I will sometimes get "Printer not
Ready", or "Printer Error in Reading", retry in 5 seconds.

1. The system *never* retries.
2. You *have to click on "retry" and everything works like a
champ.

The only thing I can figure, is the data being transmitted through the
port is too fast.,

Is there a way to (either programmatically or systemly) keep this from
happening? So that I do not have to hit "retry" or the system *will*
automatically retry again?

I don't see how I can do it Programmatically, because everything is
"spooled". Thus, My program will end long before printing stops.

Dwayne

These printers have know problems, I must have ran into everyone of them.
Download the latest drivers from HP and if you are using a JetDirect, update
it's firmware as well.

If I'm not mistakened, I think you have to use a different driver than the
one you are suppose to use with Win 98 (See the HP website for more Info)

Thanks
