After installing Update #1 for my Delphi 2005 installation my license
and serial number no longer work.

I had the whole thing installed and running nicely, did some
development, worked well. Ran the installer for Update #1 and now Delphi
2005 complains that it's unlicensed when I start it up.

I have Delphi 2005 Architect edition.

The License Manager application now shows some oddities ...

.... The four pieces of Delphi Architect (Win32, .Net, C#Builder and IDE)
show up under "Unlicensed Products" as "Expired".

.... Four pieces of Delphi Enterprise show up under "Suite License ..."
(But I don't have Delphi enterprise ...)

.... Under "Product License Optimizeit Profiler .NET 1.1 .Net Edition" it
lists the serial number and activation code that my license card gives
for Delphi Architect!

Suffering in confusion,
Bevan.

PS: While writing this message I've found out that two of my colleagues
are suffering similar problems. Help!

Found a solution myself - posting it here in the hope it helps someone else.

I went into the License Manager and deleted all the listed licenses.

Quit and save.

Back into the license manager - it came up blank. Entered my license
details from scratch, registered with Borland and everything came up the
way I wanted - full license for Delphi 2005 Architect.

Keep Smiling,
Bevan.
