Hi,

I'm looking for the appropriate DB technology for a future
client/server project, which works with ultimate BCB development
tools.

I never used real client/server DBs before, so I would be
pleased to hear your oppinions on this. (I only developed quasi
LAN DB apps, which were based on: ADO > ODBC > *.MDB, which
worked fine though).

Anyway I have some other requests now, which requires multi-tier
architecture.

The new project database is not complex, about 40 tables. There
should be up to 5 LANs which are already on Internet. Every LAN will contain up to 10 workstations). Traffic is not expected to
be frequent.

Clients should use classic EXE applications, not a Web based.

Which available (free or commercial) DB system can you suggest
me for this (BCB+?)?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
