I am trying to get Luxena Iinstalled on Delphi 2007 but I am having a
hard time.

Luxena has not updated their component packages (DBX Library & DBX
Extensions) and has no plans too.

I have been able to compiled both packages successfully in D2007, but
when I try to install the package (DBX Extensions), I get all kinds of
errors.

It seems all of the the Interface declarations

Example:

ISQLDriver = interface;
ISQLConnection = interface;
ISQLCommand = interface;
ISQLCursor = interface;
ISQLMetaData = interface;

Which were located in the DBEXpress.pas file (D7) , are no longer
there.

Allthough the file (DBEXpress.pas) exists in Delphi 2007, it has been
deprecated and there
are no longer any types or interfaces declared in the unit. It is
essentially a blank unit.

I have tried everything to locate these declarations - but have had no
luck.

Quote:
From the Whats new document:

"DBXpress unit is deprecated, empty and consequently no longer
needed. Most of this units content has been moved to either the
DBXCommon or SqlExpr units. "

However, adding these does not work!

I may be sorry that I ever went to Delphi 2007.....between the NASTY
help and these issues, Im afraid to see what else im going to
encounter down the road.

Can anyone help me!
