In my project, built using BCB6, a form does not "show" until the
constructor has finished everything it needs to do. I relied upon this
behavior to present a splash screen while set-up processing was underway.

But when I ported the project to BDS2006, the form displays, in an
incomplete state, before the splash screen appears. It looks dumb.

I can work around this, but wanted to know if I was wrong to have relied
on the don't-show-till-constructor-is-done behavior of BCB6?
