It seems that for Windows XP if you want to encode MPEG4 video with the Microsoft MPEG4 V2 encoder you now need to download the file wmpcdcs8.exe from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=73C47878-20D0-4C1A-96F4-177D7E0074B7 However, I can't seem to get this file to install in Vista, so any suggestions as to how to encode MPEG4 video in the Microsoft V2 format under Vista?
