Hi

How can I change the Boundary string for a Mime-Message?
If I add a MessagePart with

APlainPart := TIdText.Create(AMessage.MessageParts);
APlainPart.Boundary := '---testestest';

and set the boundary afterwards there is still the standard-boundary
like --=_NextPart_...... in the message :-(

How can I can change that?

thanks for your help

Why aren't the default boundaries suitable for you?

Of course there is. MIME requires that.

We did a S/Mime Email Client/Server. Another company has
a very old client, that can decrypt our messages, but can not
read the file in the mime-boundaries because for reasons nobody
knows the client decrypts the Mime-Header as quoted-printable.
That means it makes out of "=XX" a char.
The Standard-Mime-Boundary starts with --=_NextPart_...
what the client makes to --öextpart_....

So I wanted to avoid the "=" in the boundary

I found some consts in IDMessageMimeCoder, is this
the only way.
Or does anybody have ideas to the problem above?

thanks
wolf

Sounds like the client is not MIME-compliant then.
