I've successfully troubleshooted this error many times, properly
locating the bpl file in question and re-locating it to the application
folder, walla! it works with the bpl in place.
Today though, in Delphi 2005, we are having this issue with a component
bpl that we don't use in 2005 (it's a version 7 bpl, seen by the name
of the bpl it is looking for)
The program tries to start, and errors because it can't find
bsetitan.bpl
The Delphi 2005 package that is installed, listed in the runtime
packages, and is being pointed to in the package/component list, is
bsetitan05.bpl though, so I'm at a loss as to where bsetitan.bpl is
being seen as needed. I've romped through all the units in the project,
checked and rechecked the package list, and am currently searching the
machine to see what bpls are out there, but I don't really know what I
am looking for to solve this issue.
Anybody know where to start on this, is there something obvious that I
am missing? It's a third party package (Reggatta Systems) but we've had
little to no issues in the past with these bpls, and this came from
left field and has us stopped dead in the water trying to distribute
this application... |
