Hi

I am using dbx4 to connect to a MySQl 4.1 db.

I have 2 datasets.

The first ds opens OK

When I try to open the second I get an error
"commands out of sync"

What does this mean and how do I get around it ?

Thanks

D

A search in Google groups returns a number of answers:

The first link is to your answer ...

http://groups.google.nl/group/borland.public.delphi.database.dbexpress/browse_thread/thread/d7650f1df3a21f92/835a63b6fe65b139?lnk=st&q=dbexpress+commands+out+of+sync&rnum=1&hl=nl#835a63b6fe65b139

... Good on yer google !

Unfortunately none of them actually help as I'm merely reading data,
not updating. My work around is to cache the data locally and then
close the first dataset before opening the second.

Thanks
