I have the file mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable-bin.jar. I follow the instructions as I find them in the documentation. But when starting the Database Connection Wizard, under the Driver List there are 8 drivers (2 black and 6 red) but no MySql driver. What am I doing wrong? Thank gawd. I was trying to configure one of these by hand the other night for a JBuilder Personal user, and I just about went insane. It's nice (sort of) to know it wasn't just me. I'm not really sure whose problem this is. The new driver doesn't appear in the list. You have to fill in the driver and url by yourself. The values are: Driver: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver (case-sensitive!) URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost/your databasename.
