Does anyone know of a quality component for
managing TIFF image format in BCB?

In fact I need image format to archive some
black/white printed material. I have found TIFF
very useful, because it produced files less than
40 KB per page.

If there is some other component/format for the
same thing, please direct me.

Best regards,

Take a look at http://www.libtiff.org/ You will find all source code needed.
If your image is black and white, you can une the CCITT groupe 4 compression
scheme. It is used by FAX. An A4 page at 200 dpi will fit in 10k - 100k
depending of text / graphic material used in it.

Hope it helps

Torry's have some components that work with TIFF. I have not used any of
them, so I can't say if one is better than another.
