Hi all.

I am using the Absuolute Database components and so for, they work
really well. I normally don't use databsing as I hated the bde and all
the extra junk that one had to play with but now, not as much stuff.

I have a table with several fields one of which is an example a
customer number. I want to link that field to a field in another table.
IS that what is called a

Relational Databse? Where can I find info so I can get it to work?

When adding a record, I would like to get to that box and have it do a
search in the customer table then when I select the right one, fill
that field with the customer number from the second table?

Many thanks,
