Hi All,
I've written a small console app which can be used to add printers to
a machine from telnet (easier than providing instructions to users
some times, trust me). The problem I'm having though is interfacing
with Canon's Netspot Console, I want to activate it's Get Device
Status function, which automatically updates the printer profile with
the device's specific addons and whatnot. Netspot runs as a service
but has absolutely no developer literature that I've found, and Canon
have not replied to any of my emails.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this, or can suggest
a way of hooking messages sent to the service in some way, or to get a
list of its publicly advertised functions to determine the best way to
talk to it?
Many thanks for any help,
-GodDamnit
