Hello,

I have a somewhat strange behaviour with one TADOQuery in one application
that I do not understand. Maybe someone could clarify this for me:

As I said: I have a TADOQuery that uses a serverside cursor with ctKeyset.
When I read the RecNo property of that Query, I found that the active
dataset is read from the server agein. If I use a cachesize greater than 1
then the whole cache is re-read. I am wondering why this happens so I
created a new project with a similar Query, also with a serverside cursur
and ctKeyset cursortype and there I can access RecNo without any access to
the server. Why is that? Does anybody know in which cases the buffer will be
re-read when accessing RecNo?

Thanks,

Tino
