All,

I am a new user to both java and jbuilderX and have
a question on setting focus to a specific component.

I have a simple test application which uses DataExpress and
dbswing components. I use the jdbNavToolBar and have set
up a jTabbedPanel with mutiple jpanels, two of which
I have used a tableScrollPane and a jbtable component.
I also have a database and two querydatasets (each points
to a different MySQL table) and the querydatasets are attached
to the two jbtables.

What I would like to achieve is have the jbNavToolBar default
to the correct querydataset for navigation purposes when I select
the appropriate tab on the jTabbedPane. At the moment if the user
clicks in one of the jbtable columns the proper focus is set so
the the jbNavToolBar works for the visible data. This is somewhat
subtle for users since they would have to click inside the jbtable
display after clicking the the appropriate tab in the jTabbedPane.

I tried using the focusgained event of one of the jpanels and
jdbNavToolBar.setFocusDataSet method but this does not work.
Could anyone make a suggestion of how I might go about this?

Many thanks in advance for any help that can be suggested.
