You might want to take a peek at
<http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/>.

I use 40tude Dialog.

I use Thunderbird. It's OK.
Doesn't really impress me, but at least there is no IE Control in it. ;)

Top posting and over quoting can not be healed by another reader.
You have to format your quotes, so only those parts you are referring to should remain.
Mostly it is considered to be lazy and disrespectful. (I do consider it that way...)

I actually use two, Xananews and 40tude Dialog. I tie them up to
different news servers, I just find it easier to keep track up things
that way.

For where to get these take a look at the bottom of this page:

Ok you caught me Smile, i am lazy, so i would like a newsreader which helps me
with this (And yes i know it's just one mouseclick), although i am not
disrepectful, (At least not to all the great users using these newsgroups).

Best regards, (<- is this respectfull enough)

OE mangles quotes anyway, so you're better off with either OE QuoteFix or
another newsreader.

XanaNews. IMO, by far the best there is.

It is written in Delphi (2005, currently). The author, Colin Wilson, is
very responsive. You also get the full source code, so if you need
tweaks, you could even implement them yourself. There are special
newsgroups for it, so support is not a problem either.

I didn't like any of the ones I've tried so far, so from home I mostly use
one that I wrote myself. It started out as a product idea, but now is just
something I use.

There's a free utility called OE-Quotefix that adds a lot of options to OE
(far beyond the original purpose implied by the name). It handles the
top-posting, color codes quoted text to several depths, provides for random
sig quotes, and a bunch of other things.

XanaNews.

BTW, it has an option to 'Reply at Bottom' or 'Reply at Top' so it can do
what you are requesting. Don't have to worry about being lazy. ;)
