Hello there,

i use the tnmsmtp component to send mail, works fine. But in the case when
the mailserver is down or is working very slow, is unable to send the
message but the connect method don't arise any error or exception, i try to
put a timeout, without any good result. i am using D4.

regards.

Jose Canton

The Netmaster components, including TNMSMTP, are very buggy and poorly
designed. I would suggest you change to another component such as the one
in Indy (http://www.idyproject.org) or ICS (http://www.overbyte.be).
