This time I don't ask any help. I just want to thank everybody in this NG to
which I feel I give much less than I receive. I really want to wish
everybody a HAPPY XMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR, with all my heart !!!
From Italy, in a beautiful sunny and freezing day.

Buon Natale to you too from Provence, France on an equally sunny but
cold (not freezing) day.

Happy Christmas - yes - but steady on ! Until yesterday we had amzing weather
for December with a couple of days of cloudless, sunny, 8 deg C days -
marvellous for the time of year (and it hardly touched 0 deg C at any point).
It also has the promise of a clear day here (Dorset) with only thin wispy
clouds over the sunrise.

Having weather (and not climate) in the UK one must attain that equanimity of
outlook and appreciation of benefit which is essential to those who live in
interesting times and interesting countries <g>.

You lucky (somewhat)!

Well, it's time to get out to the wind. In Norwegian it's called "kuling",
and is just a little bitt less than a storm. The wind is not the problem.
The problem is mamas car, which wants some roof over it tonight. But the
snow must be removed first... It's about 100 m2 with snow, and it's at least
30 cm high (1 foot).

Happy new year! :)

Martin
