... well, I love Delphi, yes, but.. after six weeks in the u.s. I finally
returned to my office here and there was it.. the new D25k waiting to be
installed on my system.. well I did it and created a new Delphi.NET app and
wanted to execute it.. and what happens? I get an error message from
"bds.exe - bordbk90.dll" saying "Debugger Internal Error PCN-751" and Delphi
quits.. Seems like a Debugger issue with the .NET stuff all else works.. but
what to do now? Found nothing on the web about it and I am unable to debug
my projects now, very funny. I am a loyal customer but we have deadlines and
they need to be filled so anyone has an idea what's wrong?

thanks,
Alex

Alex -

Have you tried asking in one of the technical groups, say, *.ide?

Nope I've searched GoogleGroups and found that it is in QC #9949 -- no help
for me. Just wanted to express my sadness about having an application here
that doesn't execute my apps stopping me from working :(

Do you have by any chance VS.NET 2005 preview installed?

I couldn't get D2K5 to run (with debugger) on two separate PCs with
VS2K5B installed. Uninstalling VS (but leaving .net 2.0) seemed to do
the trick.

Yeah I submitted that one - are you using WInXP Pro SP2 ?
Hopefully the new D2005 update (today) will fix it - I will
post here when I find out later this eve.

I do have the beta installed - will try uninstalling it and see
if that works, if the D2005 update does not fix it. Thanks.

Hi Joe,

You should be able to go into internet information services and get the
properties for the virtual directory. From there you can specify that
you want to use .net 1.1 rather than 2.0. I've done that and you can
now debug using Delphi

Cheers,
John

Where can that "Internet Information Services" and the Virtual Directory
Setup be found?

No, the D2005 update did not fix it.
No, uninstalling .Net Beta2005 did not fix it.
Now I am trying a complete uninstall/reinstall
of Delphi2005+SP1

Reinstalling WinXP Pro without SP2,
D7 and D2005A are now running OK
without the debugger error...
