Who's going? Are there enough of us to make a BoF worthwhile?

Sorry Bob, unless someone helps out with the costs of the extra days
accomodation, travel, food and conference fees(!!), then I really can't
justify around $1000 just for one BoF session.

The word "Fan" to me conjures up the image of someone who dedicates themself
to something through good and bad, often when the dedication is unjustified.

I'd prefer to be an "advocate", because I only follow something if it is
good :-)

I'm going this year. I'll make sure to attend any BoF. I did noticed not
one BoF for Delphi is available.

Just for curiosity, can you clarify me?! What does BoF means/stands for?!

'Birds of a Feather' -- English idiom for a group of people with common
interests or characteristics (and therefore belonging to the same 'flock').

At DevCon and some other conferences, a Birds of a Feather session is an
additional session to the scheduled tracks, usually held early in the
morning or over lunch, for the discussion of some topic that isn't in the
official schedule.
They're generally not listed in the session tracks, but announced in the
daily flyer at the conference itself.

you missed the year before, so it's been a while.

I'll be there. I alrady asked for a OR mapping BOF. But it seems that many
JBuilder and ALM talks were turned into BOF sessions, so I guess space is
very limited...

We can alwasy set up a meetup outside of the conference per se...

Always seems to be--I wonder how much the extra room/hour really costs.

I'll certainly be at your mapping session if that gets approved.

If nothing else, take over some corner of one of the hotel bars for a couple
of hours one evening.

That's right - but I'm sure we'll figure it out. <g>
