Different product, different group. Makes sense, I think.

No, not the same product, no matter what you say, Kris.

So when do we get a statement on the future of BCB if BCX
has nothing to do with it?

First sentence of the "Long Term Product Line Strategy," I think.

"Borland intends to continue all future C++ product offerings with the
new C++BuilderX IDE."

I have a feeling that Legal demanded that some stuff be removed. This
letter seems pretty tame and uninformative for having been delayed for so
long -- it doesn't really answer any fundamental questions, and gives no
dates as to when important features (like the GUI designer) will be
available.

The document probably had to be signed by George Foreman and then checked by
the CIA, FBI, KGB and Mossad just to make sure it wasn't a secret code to
tell al-Quaida that their next mission will be on November 17th in London
when George Dubyah visits.

There is no future of BCB. CBX is the new C++ product. The next Open
letter is supposed to tell you if and how you will be able to use VCL
projects in CBX.

But did you read the Open Letter from begining to end? It all says what I
repeated above.

I don't know if I'm allowed to tell.

Is it safe?
