|
|
im using the allan peterson freeware tpanel opengl componet with bcb6.
It all works fine, i can load 3ds models and display them and i have
the compnent fill the form completely, but i want the user to be able
to switch between a full screen and window mode of the application. I
do this by removeing the borders of the form, using the form
properties, but when this happens the app goes full screen, but the 3d
modelin the opengl window disappears. No crash, no errors, the model
just disappears, and i have to reload it.
Anyone have any suggestions. I guess to remove the form borders, it
has to destroy then recreate it, but how do i get around this problem,
so the opngle model does not diappear.
Any help appreciated

you might benefit from the "Entering/Exiting Full-Screen Mode Changes a
Form's Handle!?" thread in vcl.components.using, which deals with the
problem that if you make your form fullscreen by changing the border-style
it will get a new handle. There is also a suggestion how to prevent this.
