hi,
When I build and run a simple opengl app(ex: a rotating cube with a light
source in the scene)from C++Builder ,everything seems ok. But when I try to
run the created exe directly , I get very low resolution and I can not see
any colors of the objects. What is the problem any idea?

Enable Color Materials, it lets the light "reflect", if you will, off of the polygons HTH
