hi dear group,
dual core processors are the standard now, and by the end of 2006-begin
2007 the quad core processors will become the standard.
Why not focus into a self-parallelized RTL-VCL for the next delphi?

It looks like it might be interesting, but i don't think Borland would
use it.
- Minimum system requirement is Pentium 4; programs using this would
not
be able to run on older systems.
- ISTM Intel would charge Borland lots of money for using this; i'm not
sure how much money they are still willing to invest in Delphi.

I guess they need a lot of rewrite to take use of this. Most of the VCL is
not exactly threadsafe, so that also has to be dealt with.
