I thought others might be interested to know that a few aspiring game
developers over @ PGD ( http://www.pascalgamedevelopment.com ) have been
using MIDletPascal ( http://www.midletpascal.com ) to create some simple
mobile phone games. The version of Pascal is more limiting than
Borlands, but it gets the job done and you can target MIDP 1.0 or MIDP 2.0.
Basically the compiler takes your Pascal code and compiles it to J2ME code.
PGD is in the process of setting up a MIDletPascal forum for those who
are interested.

What is the purpose of such a compiler?
Why would anybody want to create J2ME games using Pascal syntax? |
