Ramona, I noticed you nor Rudy never responded about the claims you
were one and the same person.

The only response I ever saw was Rudy cancelled messages about the subject.
Google archived them though, just search in groups for "Rudy Ramona Delphi".

I went through a bunch of Google Groups archives and used Xananews Forensic
mode after reading about this and compared the NNTP posting IP and found
they were usually the same for Rudy and Ramona on a day by day basis.

I even saw (in O-T, I believe) where Rudy responded to a Ramona message and
they use the same posting IP as well as newsreader, etc.

I just thought it was funny, and I was tired of playing computer games when
I was bored. The sleuthing was more fun. <g>

That's very disturbing. Because I had the distinct feeling Ramona was
hitting on me on several occasions.

It can also be revealing to do a search for the words "Rudy Ramona"
in groups "*borland*" -- that showed me a thread "Measuring Time in
C#Builder" from the off-topic group in 1993 in which "Ramona" naively
repeats a coarse word, asking what it needs, then Rudy jumps in to
cancel the message.

As long as we have no reply other than Rudy's quick cancellations (which
still shouldn't prevent us reading the messages in Google groups) I
suppose I'll have to agree that this appears to be an elaborate
long-running spoof on Rudy's part.

Even worse! I was about to try to get a date with "her".
Think about it, waking up the day after, horrible hangover, and the
first thing you hear when you open your eyes is to "rinse and spit out".

As a self-designated former BPOT-junkie, I'm willing to vouch for Ramona's
independent identity. It goes waaaaay back She's busily filling
conversational cavities around here, while Rudy clearly is hard at work with
his own plumbing practices. Speculations to the contrary are positively
absurd. :-)

When I first heard the accusation that they were one and the same, I
thought it was absurd. Perhaps it's possible they're two different
people using the same ISP, the same newsreader, similar speech patterns,
and living in the same part of the world. But, if so, I'm wondering why
"Ramona" has never showed up again, and why Rudy is so quick to cancel
any message that discusses this.

Maybe he's got a split personality and he's trying to keep that one out
of the public view. Smile
