Sir/Madam
I am trying to use regex in my database application but no success. I
tried to consult books but very little info about regex is given as its a
new topic, on sites it is too complex.
Can anybody help me about which expression will evaluate that the user
enters proper hours (i.e. 0-23) in my field..
I tried something like
[0-9] | [0-1][0-9] | 2[0-3]
According to wat i tried, the first part is for users who enter 9 or 8 or
something
secong part for users who enter 09 or 18 or etc
third part for users who enter 20 or 23 or etc
thus i tried to handle all types of valid inputs but it isnt working!!!
Please help me with that!!!

Eliminate the spaces. Try [0-9]|[0-1][0-9]|2[0-3]
