Hello,
I'm looking for a way to build applications for a pocketpc (pda etc).
Is it possible with c++builder? or do I have to use other tools?
Thanks

No it is not possible to do that with builder.
You have 2 options:
1. Download Microsoft EVT 4.0 and appropriate SDK for version of pocket
pc you need to develop. - this is free option
You can find most of the links here:
http://www.hpcfactor.com/developer/
2. Use Visual Studio 2003/2005 with compact .NET framework to develop
apps (this is only available in prof. and enterprise versions) |

I would recommend that you use Java for that kind of thing, considering
that mobile development is one area where Java has always excelled.
To be more specific, we have had very positive experience using
SuperWaba, which is a near-complete J2SE implementation for a large
number of mobile O/S (the standard Java edition for mobile devices,
J2ME, is adequate for a mobile telephone, but the GUI features are too
rudimentary for a pocket PC).
Again, we have been very satisfied with SuperWaba, even though we had
hardly any prior Java experience. Since there is bound to be a slight
learning curve, no matter what technology you choose, I would recommend
going with something like Java, which has the overwhelming advantage of
being cross-platform (i.e. so that you don't have to completely recode
your application in a couple years when the device you're coding for is
long forgotten...).
