Is anyone here using postgresql?
What is the best way to connect to it?
I believe Postgresql now supports functions that return recordsets and
I want to supply some parameters, invoke the procedure on the server
and then access the recordset from within Delphi. I've read another
post to the effect that I can only access postgresql with odbc, and
that this functionality isn't supported.
I use D6 pro.

Yes. I use PostgreSQL. Google for the VitaVoom PostgreSQL driver.
That's VERY slow, I mean it. And very heavy too. dbExpress is lighter |
and faster, has features such as cached updates, more control over
events, etc. etc. My veredict ? There is no comparison.
