Hi people

I am about to start a new project and going to decide in a low cost
database. I have some expertise with MSSQL (Enterprise) and Firebird, but
now there a new flavours on the market. This project will accomplish much
more data writes than reads, it will have to store tons of data, but because
of performance issues it will work as daily databases. So, that daily
database should not grow more than 4Gb, even because the daily data incoming
expected should never beat that value.

I will have other database on the project to store management data. Ability
to handle in sql coding statements with two databases, even more, on the
same time I will consider. I know that Interbase cannot do that, but MSSQL
does.

What you guys think I have to consider? I will be have glad for any help or
tip on it.

Thank you,

Magno
