Hi all
I've managed it a while a go to suppress the annoying window, in which the
user should enter a filename, when printing to a file by patching
prnpage.pas and some other file.
There is a example how to do that on the internet and it was from Joe C
Hecht I think.
Now to the problem...
I have installed a printer under WindowsXP which only does print to file.
The settings for color are set to "COLOR" and not to grayscales.
Now when I print to file manually (so I have to enter a valid filename) i
get a colored output file.
In my program i'm setting the filename on the fly and the outputfile I get
is NOT in color but in grayscales. Why? Is the system executing some
additional code when the user hits the OK button on the "filenamewindow"??
How can I solve this?
Thanks
Karsten

Karsten,
I don't have any answer but only a suggestion. You might want to try
in the borland.public.cppbuilder.vcl.components.using forum. Your
problems appears to be with using the TPrinter component per se rather
than the graphics side. The TPrinter component has been the subject
of discussion there before, so knowledgable readers exist out there.
Cheers, Jochen
