Hi,

I had to reinstall BCB6 recently and now I am unable to install any of
the updates. The update executable unpacks the files and then closes.
The program stays in memory and it has to be closed from task manager's
process list, but it will never continue to start the real installation.
I have checked that the update binary is good.

I have Windows XP with service pack 2 installed.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to install the update?

Best regards,

As an answer to my own question, the update will install correctly after
updaing the Windows Xp installer.
