I typically maintain two development environments, on directly on my laptop
and another in VMWare. One is used for production development and the other
is for goofing & play'n around in. I've read where some individuals have
had problems re-installing Delphi 2007, is there an issue with installing it
several times?

There shoudln't be, no. YOu can install it 15 times before you have to
call and ask for an "extension" of the product.
